Sanrokuen is a Japanese tea company founded in 1975 in Kumamoto, Japan. Explore tencha-based Japanese matcha, green tea powder, green tea and herbal teas for drinking, cafés, retail and wholesale use.
Sanrokuen has worked with Japanese tea since 1975. Based in Kumamoto, Kyushu, we select tea by origin, farmer, cultivar, harvest and intended use, and we use sensory evaluation, component analysis and in-house processing to explain why one tea is suited to drinking, another to latte use, and another to food manufacturing.
Japanese Matcha from Japan
Sanrokuen's matcha is Japanese matcha made from tencha. Our main retail collection is produced from Kumamoto-grown tea, where we work with farmers and evaluate individual lots by actual taste, color, component data and final use—not by origin name alone.
The Kumamoto Denshou Matcha collection includes Hatsugami no Shiro, Kikuchi Enju, Kikuchi Enju Premium and Hirakawa no Mukashi. Together they cover first-harvest drinking matcha, latte-friendly matcha, selected premium lots and organic Japanese matcha.
